Speaker Series at the 2016 Fair. We hosted an exciting lineup of five 30-minute talks in the Community Room, 10:30 am to 2:00 pm, including: MySafe:LA, Fire and Life Safety Education, (talk for seniors 55+); Louise Masin Sattler, advocate for persons with access and functional needs; Brian Tessier, Lake Balboa Neighborhood Council EP Committee co-chair emeritus and two-time Emmy nominee; Grayce Liu, General Manager, Dept. of Neighborhood Empowerment (DONE); and Erin Huey, long-time Red Cross First Aid and CPR/AED instructor-trainer.
